A refined solid-wood side table crafted in the French Louis XVI style, an expression of classical balance and restraint reinterpreted with elegant craftsmanship. The table stands on four inverted pyramid legs, finely shaped and embellished with stylized capitals at the top and turned brass sabots at the base. The under-top corner blocks are decorated with inset brass beading and elegant circular rosettes worked in relief. The legs are connected by aprons with shallow relief carving, enhanced by a brass profile that emphasizes the linear design and the precision of the proportions. The tabletop, enclosed by a circular frame, features a flush-mounted beveled glass top, carefully finished to enhance the transparency and lightness of the surface. In the lower section, a solid-wood cross stretcher or shelf develops, adorned at the center with a sculpted high-relief motif, framed by a perimeter brass beaded decoration. A second wide molded band, enriched with brass motifs, completes the decoration of the lower shelf, adding a further note of refinement and prestige to the overall composition.
