The three-door Louis XV-style display cabinet is a tangible testimony to the opulence and refinement of eighteenth-century France. Its structure, made of beech wood bent with a double curvature, reflects the technical complexity of the workmanship. The bois de rose covering, with a herringbone pattern, adds a touch of warmth and refinement to the piece. The veneers fit together with geometric perfection, creating a visual effect that captures the light and reflects it in golden and pink hues. The brass and mother-of-pearl inlay further embellishes the display cabinet, with inserts that design sinuous and floral motifs, giving a touch of delicacy and iridescence that changes depending on the angle of observation, like a pearl immersed in water. The perimeter of the display cabinet is a triumph of bronze applications, shaped with the micro-fusion technique and subsequently plated in 24-karat gold.
