Hand drawing

Every Capelletti piece of furniture begins with a hand-drawn line. Before the material, before the technology, there is the pencil gliding across the paper: this is where the proportions, the grace of the curves, the balance between solid and void, and the rhythm of the carvings and ornamental details take shape. Drawing is the first artisanal gesture of our work, the moment in which an idea becomes visible.

Every sketch is the result of sensitivity and experience, carrying with it a deep knowledge of classic style and a care for what will make each piece unique. Drawing by hand means observing, correcting, refining, until the line finds its final form. It is a slow, attentive dialogue between the designer and the piece to come, in which nothing is left to chance. From this first stroke begins a journey made of skilled hands: the same passion that guides the pencil will accompany the piece through every stage, until the finished handcrafted classic furniture is complete.
